My husband and I received a voucher for a gala menu + limousine service for our wedding last year. The service, the ambience, the food, everything was just right. We had a wonderful evening. Many thanks for that.

Excellent meat that you can cook on a hot stone according to your own preferences. In addition, a rustic, cozy atmosphere and a nice and attentive service. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Expected more for the price. Our main course came before the starter, we only received the aperitif after a reminder. Unfortunately experienced a mess. The taste was ok.

Was eating there with my wife for the first time. We can only report positive things. Friendly welcome, compliance with all rules, great atmosphere. Price-performance ratio ok. High quality meat. Great wines. Very friendly and competent staff. We were shown the entire building and declared "full house" despite it. I would like other restaurateurs to have such well-trained staff. The concept works perfectly. Congratulations. P.S. I very rarely give good reviews because I am gastronomically "biased" :-)

The meat quality is excellent and the preparation by the kitchen is visually appealing. The desserts are an absolute must. The service today was also wonderful, always attentive and friendly. This is the place to eat in Weingarten, the steaks are superb and the wine is great.... Service is super and they have menus in English....

Great places, it's very nice. We had a great time with the family and the small children. Restaurant offers an authentic menu and the prices justify themselves. And the dishes are very good. We will be back soon.

It was our first time as guests in the "Alte Brauerei" and that much should be said in advance: we will be back! In terms of price, it is definitely a higher category that is justified in view of the quality. Both the food, drinks and the attentive, very friendly service left nothing to be desired! The menu is very meat-heavy, so not particularly suitable for vegetarians, but I think that the good piece of meat is also important here. After a dry aged tartar and an exotic mixing plate consisting of crocodile, ostrich, kangaroo, bison and beef, a dessert was just right ... what I mean, the portions are perfectly adequate, even for the bigger appetite! The mixing plate with the small pieces of meat, in connection with the hot stone, reminded me of a mixture of fondue and raclette ... next time I would definitely recommend a whole piece of meat of one kind, if, according to my experience today, from bison! Not only is the meat special about this place, but also the ambience! You actually feel like you have been transported back in time and if you want to be completely back in the 14th century, you can have a table set up in the knight's hall or the potato store. Our place in the green inner courtyard was just right for the great weather. If you want to dine in a special ambience again, this is the place for you! Quality and service convince and deserve the 5 stars! Praise to "Günni" the young, extremely dedicated waiter!

Unique ambience with an unexpected beautiful courtyard that serves as a beer garden in warmer seasons. Great meat selection in exotic terms too. As a specialty, the raw meat ordered is served on a hot plate with baked potato and sauces. Grandiose taste and overall impression!

The restaurant makes a good impression at first glance. However, one has to say very clearly that in this league in which it wants to play it definitely cannot play. This may be due to the staff on the one hand and the interior and the food on the other. Price performance does not fit here at all! Everything is mercilessly overpriced. The side salad is better in every 0815 restaurant and the potato as a side dish is far too little. Since you do the meat yourself on the stone, everyone is responsible for it! Once and never again!

This is one of my favorite places when it comes to meat and a joyful family and friends atmosphere. This steakhouse is one of the few places in Germany where you can not only order exotic meats such as crocodile but also cook it to perfection as you wish, since you are given a hot stone to cook it yourself. This is your perfect chance to get that medium rare black Angus steak, accompanied with a delicious baked potato. Lastly, their homemade pana cotta with rasberries is to die for! The ambience is charming and rustic with real old candles and wooden chairs and tables. The service is great and the people are extremely friendly. We got a delicious lachs/salmon on the house as a starter and some Schnapps after our main meal. Keep in mind that this great dining experience will not be some fast in and out affair. Good things take their time, so make sure you're not in a rush to be somewhere. If you love meat and a unique ambiance, you should certainly not miss this.

OMG!!! Very rarely have I had such a great dinner experience!! The food is stunninggly good, when you pay that price you kind of expect that / but also the service was so funny, supportive and kind. There are not many place like this left anymore. I was pretty stressed before coming here and after that experience it felt like I have been on a vacation trip. Thank you for that ??????

A very nice courtyard (Beergarten). Good food (including exotic meat) and drinks. Friendly staff. But the prices are high.

Beef on a hot stone. Ok if you like that sort of thing. Wine is sort of secondary; took 10m to ready while beef sizzles away. White asparagus and old beef.

Food from the hot stone in a nice ambience. The selection is varied. You can choose from a variety of meats and mixed dishes - including exotic varieties such as crocodile and kangaroo. The hot stone is served together with the meat at the table and can be fried to your own taste. The restaurant is located in a kind of vaulted cellar. The waiters are pleasantly polite and look after the well-being of the guests in a cozy atmosphere. Of course I can be paid cashless to all current giro and credit cards. Keep it up!

Every year on our anniversary, my heart and I go here because it was here that it sparked for the first time. The food is always something special and a great atmosphere is guaranteed, regardless of the weather. The waitresses are very friendly and courteous, and extra requests are gladly catered for. Because we can never decide, we choose the exotic plate, as there is always something of every delicacy there. We dared a little with the starter and I never would have thought that beef tartare could be so delicious. The pieces are just so small that you can still enjoy them, but not too small that it's just mud. For the main course from the hot stone, we chose the exotic plate, with a large baked potato and a side salad, as well as various sauces. We always get so full from the main course that we don't get any dessert. But it is always worth coming back. It's just cozy and always something special. On average we spend 2-2.5 hours here, simply because you can really enjoy it.

Very beautiful place and interesting concept. However, it's understaffed and the music (Andrea Bocelli and Il Divo on repeat) cuts off the ambience because it's totally out of context. The desserts are incredibly expensive. The hot stone is a good idea, except for warm days.
